Built by divers, for divers.
Dive168 started in 2012 when Khun Nok — a PADI Course Director with a passion for Phuket's waters — rented a small classroom above a noodle shop in Kata Beach and began teaching Open Water courses to a handful of travellers.
Word spread fast. The crystal visibility at Racha Noi, the seahorses of Koh Dok Mai, the whale sharks passing King Cruiser wreck — guests kept coming back, and bringing their friends.
Today we run a fleet of modern speedboats, employ 14 full-time PADI instructors, and operate every day of diving season — with zero lost-time incidents in 12 years. We're prouder of that last number than any other.

Safety First, Always
Every boat carries O₂ first-aid kits, AED devices, and a diver below surface comms system. All guides hold current Emergency First Response certifications.
Small Groups Only
We cap dive groups at 4 divers per guide. No herding. No rushing. Just personalised underwater time with creatures and sites at your own pace.
Ocean Conservation
PADI Project AWARE members. We run coral nursery dives, collect data for marine surveys, and never touch marine life — ever.
Our Journey
12 Years in Numbers
2012
Born from a late-night idea at a noodle shop near Chalong Bay. Name chosen: 168 — in Chinese (一路发) it means 'fortune and prosperity along every path.' First class: Open Water for 3 divers.
2015
Launched our first purpose-built speedboat and joined the PADI 5-Star Centre network. Added Phi Phi and King Cruiser to our daily trip routes.
2018
Crossed 5,000 happy divers from 30+ countries. Added Similan Islands liveaboard routes and expanded the team to 3-language instruction.
2020
COVID hit the entire tourism industry. We used the downtime to rebuild, retrain, and plan the next chapter — emerging leaner, more experienced, and more committed than ever.
2024
10,000+ diver milestone. Launched full online booking, 3-language support (EN · TH · 中文), and partnered with Thailand's top liveaboard fleets.

Cancellation Policy
We understand plans change. Our policy is designed to be fair to both guests and our small team. If we cancel due to weather, you receive a full refund or free rescheduling.
Weather Cancellations (by Dive168)
If we cancel your trip due to bad weather or unsafe conditions, you receive a 100% refund or can reschedule to any available date at no charge.
